Inspect and evaluate the quality of productsRepair machines or systemsDetailed knowledge of CNC/NC programming and understanding of geometric tolerancesUnderstanding of computer software such as MS-Word and ExcelEmployee HR approvalsWhat are we looking for in a great Fabrication and Machinist Lead? Accurately reads/interprets blueprints that may include mechanical connections/joints, mechanical assembly prints, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, electrical wiring diagramsUnderstanding of and the willingness to follow work order instructions, including signing-off of fabrication department dispatchesDetailed knowledge of CNC/NC ProgrammingCan design and constructHas good communication and problem solving skillsIs comfortable communicating with management and Human ResourcesIs able to lift up to 50 lbs.Is able to bend, crawl and be on feet for 8 plus hours per work dayHas any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performanceMany tasks include their own work and/or the review of work of others in the department.
