Must Have's:
  • Proven experience working as a Project Manager in the construction/ manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of reading blueprints, drawings, specifications, and other prints
  • Knowledge of project management software (Procore, Textura, Strumis or similar)
  • Basic math knowledge, problem solving
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Direct production experience with role function examples
  • Lean practice or exposure of concepts
  • Experience managing project budgets, cost tracking, and margin awareness
  • Ability to manage scope changes and Notices of Change (NOC)
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (production, materials, office)
  • Strong documentation and reporting discipline
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-moving environment

The position will be responsible for the following to help HCI operate smoothly. These responsibilities may change from time to time as required by changing business conditions, company management structure, or other reasons that management deems appropriate.
  • Ensure project outcomes are completed to ISO 9001 standards while meeting internal and external stakeholder needs. Build and maintain project charter (customer, invoicing, doc control, profit margin, materials, capacity, prints, etc.) with coinciding 'T-Sheets' once approved PO is received while obtaining any additional information, Notice of Change (NOC), or questions prior to meeting.
  • Monitor production schedule daily and attend all huddles/constraint operations meetings to understand schedule/materials issues so the master schedule and component inventories are accurate daily.
  • Oversee process of confirming all quantity, pricing, and accuracy of materials for all orders shipped and received with Material Handler and Foreman on a documented consistent and frequent basis.
  • Perform work required in a timely and safe manner. Maintain adequate production in order to meet service schedules and customer commitments.
  • Maintain, communicate, and improve work process flows with team members to strive for safety improvements, zero quality issues, and cycle time reduction.
  • Complete all assigned training. In person or web based.
  • Maintain project files and documentation according to internal procedures.
  • Attend project meetings, job walks, and safety meetings as required.
  • Demonstrate initiative and sound decision making by independently prioritizing tasks, solving problems proactively and following through with minimal oversight.
  • Performing other duties and tasks assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
  • Assure that all signatures required for work performed are obtained in a timely manner and submitted to the office for invoicing.
