About The Role:

CHANEL is looking for a Sales Manager for the 5th Ave Watches & Fine Jewelry (WFJ) Flagship. The role will be based in New York and report to the Boutique Director for the 5th Ave WFJ Flagship. This position will serve as a key brand ambassador and business leader focused on delivering extraordinary experiences for internal team and clients. They will be responsible for driving the overall business of our Flagship through managing a seasoned team of salespeople, coaching, and equipping the Boutique Director with critical business knowledge.

What Impact You Can Create at CHANEL:

  • Drive scale and grow WFJ business across all segments (Watches/Fine Jewelry/High Jewelry), through the 5th Ave WFJ sales team. Engage neighboring Fashion and WFJ partners to reach strong growth ambition. Deliver on business driving KPIs around recruitment, retention, conversion, data capture, etc. Develop strategies to increase sales and achieve goals.
  • Drive successful WFJ events and activations by leading the team in identifying high potential clients and supporting curated client outreach and follow-up.
  • Coach and inspire the team to deliver an exceptional client experience for all clients at all times enabled by meaningful leadership presence on the selling floor.
  • Foster a positive working environment and create a culture of feedback, encouraging diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork.
  • Provide initial and frequent ongoing training and development for all team members, including Chanel savoir faire, sales techniques and service delivery.
  • Drive all aspects of the WFJ business, including analysis, reporting, assortment planning, and partnership with Home Office teams.
  • Lead team with agility and resilience, continuously improving based on key performance indicators and lessons learned.

Position Logistics:

  • Requires in-store presence to develop and coach teams, ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld, and deliver elevated client service to drive business results.

  • Ability to lift 15 lbs.
  • A flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays
