Job description

Jefferson Radiology is seeking a Chair of Breast Imaging to join their growing team in Hartford, CT. This full-time, on-site position offers a pathway to partnership with profit-sharing opportunities and uncapped earning potential. The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in breast imaging and capable of reading non-subspecialty diagnostic imaging, contributing to a collaborative and physician-led culture.

Practice Info

  • 90+ physician sub-specialty group practice with 400+ non-physician staff members based in Connecticut.
  • Covers multiple imaging centers, community hospitals, and tertiary-academic centers.
  • Unified, enterprise PACS with home workstations for all physicians.
  • State-of-the-art cloud-based system with AI tools and workflow enhancement solutions.
  • Flexible/personalized partnership track staffing models ranging between 3-5 day-per-week models.
  • Supports a 20-person residency program.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical responsibilities include all aspects of Breast Radiology.
  • Leadership, program development, and research.
  • Close partnership and collaboration with breast medical and surgical specialists at Hartford Hospital.
  • Teaching opportunities are available.

Compensation

  • Salary Range with a base of $625,000 for on-site with productivity incentives upwards to $1,000,000 annually.
  • Commencement and/or Retention bonuses up to $100,000 collectively.
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

  • Licensed or ability to obtain medical license in the State of Connecticut and Massachusetts.
  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy.
  • Completed a one-year post-residency fellowship training in Breast Radiology.
  • Leadership or program development experience a plus.
  • Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • MQSA required.
