IPL Schoeller is a leading manufacturer of sustainable rigid packaging solutions across a range of end market segments including returnable transit packaging, consumer and industrial packaging, environmental containers and agricultural packaging. The role

IPL is seeking a highly organized and commercially minded Sales Operations Manager to drive operational excellence and support our sales organization. This role is responsible for optimizing sales processes, improving data accuracy and reporting, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure alignment between customer demand, production capabilities, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance and streamline sales processes, workflows, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage CRM systems, ensuring accurate data, reporting, and user adoption.
  • Develop sales reports, forecasts, dashboards, and KPI tracking to support business decisions.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to sales leadership.
  • Partner with commercial and finance teams on pricing, quotations, and contract administration.
  • Support onboarding and training of sales team members.
  • Collaborate with production, supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to align sales activities with operational capabilities.
  • Serve as a key liaison between sales and supply chain to manage lead times, inventory availability, and customer expectations.
  • Lead and support strategic commercial initiatives, including product launches, territory planning, and customer segmentation.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the sales organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, or a related field.
  • MUST HAVE 5+ years of Sales Operations experience within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting commercial teams in manufacturing, plastics, packaging, or other product-driven industries.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and CRM platforms (Salesforce, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven success improving sales processes and supporting high-performing sales organizations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management, sales operations, or data analytics certifications are considered an asset.
