All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Art instructors (below). Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview

Courses offered: ARTH 3 - Survey of Western Art from Prehistory through the Middle Ages ARTH 5 - Survey of Western Art from Renaissance to Contemporary ARTH 7 - Arts of Africa, Oceania, and Indigenous North America ARTH 9 - Art of the Ancient Americas ARTH 11 - Survey Asian Arts ARTH 19 - Contemporary Art: 1945-Present Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's in art history, history of art and architecture; OR Master's in art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in art history; OR The equivalent; OR Valid lifetime credential that authorizes service as an art history instructor in a California Community College; OR The equivalent; AND Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment. MEETING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS DOES NOT ASSURE THE CANDIDATE OF AN INTERVIEW.
