Cg Modeling information

What is a cg modeling?

A CG Modeling job involves creating 3D models of characters, objects, and environments for films, video games, animation, and visual effects. CG modelers use software like Maya, Blender, or ZBrush to sculpt and refine digital assets based on concept art or references. They focus on creating clean topology, accurate proportions, and detailed textures to ensure models are suitable for animation and rendering. CG Modelers often collaborate with artists, animators, and technical teams to achieve the desired look and functionality of the models.

What does a cg modeling professional do?

As a CG Modeling professional, your typical day involves creating and refining 3D models based on concept art, reference images, or technical specifications. You will work closely with texture artists, animators, and other team members to ensure the models meet project requirements and are fully optimized for use in animation, games, film, or advertising. Tasks often include sculpting, UV unwrapping, retopology, and preparing assets for rendering or integration into game engines. Collaboration, iteration, and attention to both artistic and technical detail are key components of daily workflows.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in cg modeling?

To thrive in CG Modeling, you need a strong understanding of 3D modeling principles, attention to detail, and foundational knowledge in art and design. Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, ZBrush, or 3ds Max, and familiarity with rendering and texturing workflows, is essential, with some studios preferring relevant certifications. Creativity, collaboration, and strong communication skills help modelers work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and meet client or project needs. These skills ensure that CG modelers can create high-quality, production-ready assets that fit seamlessly within broader visual projects.

Job description

We are seeking a senior, client-facing Salesforce Technical Architect who has grown from a hands-on Salesforce Developer into a technical leader, development manager, or architect. This person will own end-to-end technical solution design, lead delivery teams, and remain capable of diving into code, integrations, troubleshooting, and platform decisions when required.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating at both the strategic and delivery levels: advising clients and executives, translating business priorities into scalable Salesforce architecture, guiding developers and admins, and ensuring high-quality implementation across the lifecycle. Salesforce Technical Architects are expected to design secure, high-performing, integrated solutions within the client’s broader technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical discovery, solution design, estimation, and delivery for complex Salesforce engagements.
  • Partner directly with client business and technology stakeholders to understand goals, constraints, processes, data, and enterprise architecture.
  • Translate functional requirements into scalable Salesforce technical designs, including architecture diagrams, data models, integration specifications, security models, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Serve as the technical authority for Salesforce platform design, custom development, integrations, data migration, release strategy, performance, and security.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide Salesforce developers, administrators, QA resources, and technical leads; conduct design and code reviews and establish engineering standards.
  • Remain hands‑on as needed with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, APIs, integrations, debugging, and complex production issue resolution.
  • Design and govern integrations between Salesforce and enterprise platforms using APIs, middleware, event‑driven patterns, and appropriate synchronous/asynchronous processing.
  • Define architecture and development standards for scalability, maintainability, testability, security, CI/CD, source control, and environment management.
  • Evaluate Salesforce capabilities and recommend the appropriate mix of configuration, declarative automation, custom development, AppExchange solutions, and external services.
  • Lead technical workstreams across full project lifecycles: discovery, design, build, test, deployment, hypercare, and ongoing optimization.
  • Communicate technical risks, trade‑offs, dependencies, estimates, and recommendations clearly to both technical and nontechnical client audiences.
  • Support pre‑sales activities as needed, including solutioning, technical demos, estimation, statements of work, and client presentations.

Technical Architects commonly lead custom Apex/LWC development, API and integration design, large‑data‑volume considerations, environment strategy, and DevOps processes.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Salesforce experience, including a clear progression from Salesforce Developer or Senior Developer into Technical Lead, Development Manager, Technical Architect, or equivalent senior consulting role.
  • 3+ years leading technical teams, delivery workstreams, or major Salesforce implementation programs.
  • Strong hands‑on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce where applicable, SOQL/SOSL, asynchronous Apex, REST/SOAP APIs, and Salesforce DX.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce security, sharing, role hierarchy, permission sets, profiles, identity/access considerations, and governance.
  • Demonstrated experience designing enterprise integrations, data migration approaches, API strategies, and error‑handling/reconciliation processes.
  • Experience with CI/CD, version control, automated testing, code quality practices, release management, and multi‑environment deployment strategies.
  • Proven ability to design for scale, performance, system limits, large data volumes, maintainability, and operational support.
  • Consulting experience with direct client interaction, stakeholder management, technical workshops, requirements clarification, and executive‑level communication.
  • Experience leading distributed or cross‑functional teams while balancing hands‑on technical contribution with architecture and delivery leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical choices and trade‑offs in business terms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architect, Data Architect, Sharing & Visibility Architect, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect.
  • Experience with Salesforce clouds such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Field Service, Marketing Cloud, CPQ/Revenue Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud.
  • Experience with MuleSoft or comparable middleware/iPaaS platforms.
  • Background in Agile delivery, technical project estimation, enterprise architecture, and managed services/support environments.
  • Experience with modern web technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, or external cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Prior experience in a consulting firm, Salesforce partner, systems integrator, or client‑facing delivery organization.
