The Opportunity

Responsible for delivering CFP content to students for a class review. Instructors need to deliver classroom content in a meaningful way to foster student understanding of complex topics. Content includes our books, student handout materials, question databases, and the ability to work within the LMS to provide feedback to students. Teach CFP exam education classes using our virtual classrooms.


What You'll Do:

Education and Exam Review Content

  • Thorough understanding of Dalton Education content, which includes our books, student handout materials, online learning program, question database, and classroom PowerPoints.
  • Assist with updates and content development for slides and other materials used throughout the education process as needed.
  • Remain current on CFP regulation and tax law changes/updates.
  • Facilitate assigned CFP courses.

Classroom

  • Teach CFP exam courses using our virtual classrooms.
  • Answer student questions and coordinate with other faculty to support student questions.
  • Foster student learning and participation in class.
  • Be prepared to present material at each class.
  • Answer student questions during class.
  • Deliver classes in a virtual classroom setting.

Miscellaneous

  • Provide your availability to the Faculty Director on an ongoing basis.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

What You'll Need:

  • Advanced degree in your area of study or current CFP certification and a Bachelor's in any subject.
  • Outstanding classroom facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with Zoom.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Passion for education and helping to create future CFP registered representatives.

Preferred Skills

  • PhD, JD, CPA, CFA, or FRM
  • 5 years of Financial industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
