Job description

Spokane Airports is hiring a Police Chief dedicated to ensuring public safety and providing exceptional customer service to the traveling public and Airport community. This position oversees and directs the Airport's Police Department, Dispatch Center, and Credentialing Office. The Chief is responsible for the enforcement of laws and security regulations, traffic operations, and airport security compliance and support. Minimum qualifications include an active Washington State Peace Officer certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and three years of law enforcement management experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered in meeting the requirements of this position. Current wage is $101,260.70 - $143,490.31 annually, depending on qualifications. Current benefits include medical, dental, life and disability insurance, LEOFF retirement as well as an employee assistance program and employee wellness program. Holiday and accrued sick and vacation time is provided. EOE, including disability/veterans.
