Candidates must possess fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese. Candidates should have at least two to three years ofexperience in one or both of the following subject matter areas: export controls administered by the Bureau of Industry and Security and Directorate of Defense Trade Controls; customs law, including entry, classification and valuation, and other matters within the jurisdiction of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Additional subject matter experience with economic sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control and/or trade remedy investigations under U.S. antidumping and countervailing duty and safeguard laws is preferred.
