National Security & Global Trade Associate โ€“ Washington, DC


Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a National Security & Global Trade Associate to join its Washington, DC office. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate with 3โ€“4 years of experience advising on U.S. economic sanctions, export controls, CFIUS, and national securityโ€“related issues arising in corporate and financial transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with lawyers across the firm's corporate, private equity, finance, government investigations, and regulatory teams on complex, cross-border matters for leading multinational clients.


The estimated salary range for this position is $260,000 โ€“ $310,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.


Qualifications


  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be admitted to practice (or eligible for admission) in the relevant jurisdiction
  • 3โ€“4 years of experience in sanctions, export controls, CFIUS, or national security matters at a law firm or in-house
  • Experience supporting transactions involving trade or national security considerations, including diligence and risk assessment
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
