Position Summary

The Delivery Team Leader will coordinate the delivery team, ensure timely and accurate deliveries, and maintain the high-quality standards Chick-fil-A is known for. You will also collaborate with various departments to streamline catering processes and enhance customer experience.

Key Expectations:

     Lead and support CFA Colony Square’s Mission and Vision Culture

     Lead, train, and support the 3 focus areas of the “winning hearts everyday strategy”: Great Food, Fast + Accurate Service and

Genuine Hospitality

     Support and influence the restaurant’s overall operational and financial goals

     Work flexible work schedules to support the restaurant’s operations and guest demands

     Hold self and team members accountable to the restaurant dress code, break and lunch meal periods, and discount policies

     Maintain a positive working relationship and treat all team members with respect while providing them with direction and feedback

     Lead, follow-up, and participate in daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly cleaning checklists

     Ensure that team members monitor dining room, kitchen and overall facility cleanliness

     Ensure that Team Members work at a pace to maintain the restaurant’s established speed of service guidelines

     Addresses guests issues that may arise using the HEARD model, consult with your respective director regarding complex issues

     Assisting with store operations as necessary - CARES + food item ordering

     Will work in either Ridley or Springfield Park store to ensure proper coverage

     Be receptive and accountable to feedback and coaching from your respective Operations Lead

Position Specific: CFA Delivery/Catering

     Train and manage a team of delivery team members that execute deliveries for both CFA Delivery and Catering Delivery

     Execute delivery orders if necessary to support delivery team

     Monitor driver performance, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans as needed

     Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain a seamless delivery process.

     Prioritize exceptional customer service and resolve any delivery-related issues promptly.

     Collect and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve the delivery experience.

     Implement strategies to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.

     Complete the set-up and preparation for each catering order; boxes, utensils, sauces, TMS bags, etc.

     Assisting and supporting kitchen staff with pick-up catering orders

     When payment is received from delivery drivers, hand to proper management

     Ensure catering orders that are ‘to be collected’, tendered upon delivery

     Support the delivery of catering orders when needed

     Stow all catering related items away upon return to the restaurant

     Maintain inventory of catering supplies

     Inform the Operations Leads of any errors with catering orders

     Coordinate execution of in store catering pick-up orders as necessary

     Serve in-store guests when not supporting the BTR (Beyond the Restaurant) Team
