The Senior Business Operations Analyst supports operational performance, reporting, and process improvement initiatives within Customer Eligibility Verification (CEV), Medicaid, and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) public assistance program environments. This role serves as a business and operational subject matter expert (SME), supporting delivery teams through data analysis, workflow evaluation, operational support, and process improvement activities.
Working collaboratively across multiple functional areas, the analyst partners with operations, leadership, technology partners, and external stakeholders to identify trends, improve efficiencies, support compliance requirements, and enhance service delivery outcomes. This role provides consultative and analytical support without direct operational ownership for program execution and requires strong knowledge of Medicaid and SNAP policies, eligibility processes, and operational flows, including awareness of evolving regulatory initiatives such as HR 1.
Your role in our mission
  • Support delivery and operations teams through reporting, operational analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Medicaid eligibility verification, and SNAP related public assistance workflows.
  • Analyze operational data and performance trends to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and service enhancements.
  • Research operational issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workflow improvements, automation efforts, and operational effectiveness.
  • Assist with monitoring compliance with Medicaid and SNAP program requirements and operational standards.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and business documentation.
  • Participate in operational reviews and client discussions as needed to support delivery objectives.

What we're looking for
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, CEV, Medicaid, SNAP, public assistance programs, business operations, or related operational support environments.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Medicaid eligibility, verification, enrollment, operations, or related operational processes.
  • Working knowledge of SNAP operations, eligibility processes, or public assistance programs preferred.
  • Experience analyzing operational data, preparing reports, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Experience working in cross-functional operational environments preferred.

The pay range for this position is $69,400 - $99,200 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
