Job description

As a Service Technician you must be organized, an effective communicator (both written & oral), and qualified to provide services in calibration/instrumentation and preventative maintenance. This role may be under the tutelage of our Training & Technical Manager for advancement and work with cross-functional internal teams.

Location: Primary service area would be within the RTP, NC.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Support service operations by providing calibration and/or preventive maintenance of general laboratory and process equipment.
Repair of HEPA filtered devices, including Biological Safety Cabinets, Clean Benches, Chemical Fume Hoods and Cleanrooms.
Additional services are to be provided as trained for, including but not limited to: Decontamination, Laboratory Equipment Repair and Calibration, Balance and Scale Calibration.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma or GED.
NSF or CETA or NEBB Qualification (Preferred)
Technical College graduates and PMEL are preferred.
Maintain a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Computer literate
Proficient in all Microsoft Office suites.
Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Familiar with ASQ, NSF Ansi 49, or CETA RCCP
Adept in electronics & electrical.
