Job description

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 12:00pm - 8:30pm

You will be responsible for receiving and putting away inventory into stock, picking and packing orders for delivery, loading and unloading trucks and trailers, staging, sorting, and counting products, auditing, wrapping pallets, warehouse keeping, and inventory control.

Primary Duties:

  • Pick product in pick modules or floor pick.

  • Flex between stocking, picking, loading, and processing, as needed.

  • Load and unload trucks and trailers by hand or by use of a motorized pallet jack.

  • Receive in merchandise on the purchase order off of the vendor packing list.

  • Prepare return tickets or warranty materials and record damage of faulty material.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Ability to meet minimum productivity standards.

Physical Demands:


Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping. Occasional sitting, talking/hearing. The use of hands/fingers are often needed.

  • Continuous lifting and carrying of 1-20 lbs.

  • Frequent lifting and carrying of 21-50 lbs.

  • Occasional lifting and carrying of 51-100 lbs. with the assistance of a buddy-lift or a mechanical device.

Vision requirements for driving equipment and company vehicles include:

  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).

  • Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more).

  • Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point).

  • Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
