Certified Splunk Power User information

What is a Certified Splunk Power User?

A Certified Splunk Power User is an individual who has demonstrated proficiency in using Splunk software to search, analyze, and visualize machine-generated data. This certification validates the ability to create reports, dashboards, alerts, and use Splunk's advanced features for data analysis. Power Users are skilled in extracting and transforming data, using Splunk's search language (SPL), and creating knowledge objects. The certification is ideal for those who want to prove their expertise in leveraging Splunk for business intelligence and operational insights.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a Certified Splunk Power User?

To excel as a Certified Splunk Power User, you need a solid understanding of data analytics, log analysis, and familiarity with Splunk's search processing language (SPL), typically validated by the Splunk Power User certification. Experience with Splunk dashboards, data onboarding, and knowledge objects, as well as integration with other security and IT monitoring tools, is important. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication help in interpreting data insights and collaborating with IT teams. These skills ensure accurate data analysis, effective problem-solving, and the ability to drive actionable business and security outcomes.

Communication is key, as Power Users often help translate stakeholder requirements into Splunk searches and visualizations, and may also assist with onboarding new data sources. This collaborative environment enables them to contribute directly to incident response, monitoring, and ongoing process improvements.

About EnsoData

EnsoData strives to make healthcare more accurate, efficient, and affordable through waveform artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Using AI and machine learning, our software analyzes billions of data points collected from sensors placed throughout the human body. Our first solution, EnsoSleep, reduces the time clinicians spend analyzing, scoring and managing sleep studies. This results in a simplified and accelerated patient testing, diagnosis, and treatment workflow. Our AI-powered technology has the capability of informing health decisions beyond sleep medicine, from monitoring patient health in the ICU or through wearables, to detecting and capturing seizure data, to providing earlier detection of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and Alzheimer's.
