Job Summary

The Rigging Services Technician is responsible for the successful execution of all rigging elements and ensuring compliance with Company and PLASA standards. The Rigging Services Technician is charged with delivering unmatched customer service and providing unmatched client satisfaction.

Essential Functions
  • Ensure all event and rigging elements are executed according to Company standards
  • Assist with the rigging of overhead stage equipment including lighting, sound, automation, scenery and props, as needed
  • Comply with all Company security and safety protocols
  • Company will all Company policies and procedures
  • Inspect all rigging and audio visual equipment; notify Supervisor immediately if damage or unsafe situation exists
  • Ensure any lost, stolen or damaged equipment is immediately reported to Supervisor.
  • Look for opportunities to enhance client’s event experience
  • Provide continued communication with Management to ensure success of all events.
  • Follow through on all client requests
  • Ensure all Company occupied areas as clean, organized and up to Company standards
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) years’ production/theatrical rigging experience
  • Prior exposure to audio visual and/or hospitality industry
  • ETCP certification and/or Aerial Work Platform Certification preferred
