Job description

*Must have Oracle EBS experience

*Position is subject to contract award

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of experience administering Oracle EBS environments in federal or large-scale enterprise settings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • Proficient with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle EBS Application Architecture, and SQL
  • Familiarity with federal IT security controls and audit requests, including SSO and MFA
  • Strong experience with Oracle 12c/19c database administration, backup/recovery (RMAN), and high availability using Data Guard.
  • Expertise in Fusion Middleware (WebLogic, OAM, OID), EBS application tiers, and concurrent processing.
  • Familiarity with AWS-hosted environments, Oracle on Linux (RedHat), and cloud-based performance/security monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting, PL/SQL, and managing complex integration interfaces.
  • Understanding of federal security standards and audit protocols including ATO, FISCAM, and FISMA.
  • Expertise in Agile Methodology
  • Prior federal work experience
  • Experience with ETL process

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and administer Oracle 12c/19c databases supporting Oracle EBS R12 (12.2.11), including production, development, test, UAT, and DR environments hosted in AWS.
  • Perform daily database health checks, monitor performance, optimize SQL queries, and manage backup/recovery using RMAN and Data Guard.
  • Implement and maintain Oracle's Advanced Security features (e.g., TDE encryption, fine-grained auditing, wallet authentication).
  • Manage and troubleshoot concurrent processing, workflows, and concurrent managers in the EBS stack.
  • Apply Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPUs), PSU patches, and perform regular cloning, patching, and upgrades.
  • Manage comprehensive schedule for Oracle quarterly CPU patch, cloning request, monthly database and filesystem space management/cleanup, capacity management, performance tuning and evaluation.
  • Configure, maintain, and secure Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), and Oracle Forms/Reports 12c.
  • Support Oracle Discoverer (legacy), Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB), and integration with Amazon Redshift/EDW for financial reporting.
  • Administer and monitor Fusion Middleware components including SSL, SSO, and SFTP channels.
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure team for system patching, storage management, and network configurations.
  • Evaluate critical Oracle EBS security issues (content, internal controls, access levels, etc.) and make recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and EXIM IT security controls including audit logging, account reviews, configuration management, and DR/COOP planning.
  • Participate in annual COOP exercises and disaster recovery drills; maintain accurate DR plans and recovery scripts.
  • Provide technical support and documentation for OCFO and IT audit walkthroughs, ATO renewals, and system security plans.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience supporting Oracle EBS for a federal credit agency or financial institution.
  • Experience with Redshift, Tableau, or other BI/ETL tools in a hybrid data warehouse environment.
