St. Mary's School in Simsbury, CT is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and faith-filled Grade 4 Teacher to join our vibrant Catholic school community. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students academically, spiritually, and socially while fostering a love of learning in a nurturing and faith-centered environment.

Position Overview
The Grade 4 Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering instruction aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum standards while supporting the academic, spiritual, social, and emotional development of students. The teacher will foster a classroom culture that promotes excellence, respect, responsibility, and faith.
Key Responsibilities
Teach core academic subjects, including Religion, English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
Integrate Catholic teachings, values, and traditions throughout classroom instruction and daily interactions.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, critical thinking, and a growth mindset.
Utilize best instructional practices and data-informed decision making to support student achievement.
Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative methods and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families regarding academic and behavioral growth.
Incorporate educational technology to enhance instruction and student engagement.
Prepare students for participation in school liturgies, prayer services, service projects, and other faith-based activities.
Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to ensure student success.
Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
Support and uphold the mission, vision, and values of St. Mary's School and the Archdiocese of Hartford.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and teacher certification are required.
Minimum of 2 years classroom experience.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
