Job description

The Palmyra R-1 School District is seeking a full-time Middle School Math teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students in 7th Grade Math. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of the content area, research-based instructional strategies, and technology, as well as possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

The successful candidate(s) will also be able to interpret and utilize data to support curriculum decisions and determine effectiveness of instruction. All qualified candidates must hold or be eligible for Missouri teacher certification in Math with Middle School endorsements. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
