Job description

Machine Operator - Starting Pay $22/hr to $23/hr

Location: Eastern Indianapolis region.

Shift/Pay:

  • 2nd shift- 2:30 PM-11:00 PM (Monday-Friday) Pay: $22/hr
  • 3rd shift- 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Sunday-Thursday) Pay: $23/hr

Training:

  • 6-8 weeks of training
  • All employees will train on 1st shift: 6:30AM to 3:00PM Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate up to four industrial machines while maintaining production standards.
  • Use hand and power tools to change tooling and make minor equipment adjustments.
  • Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers.
  • Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and production guidelines.
  • Document production information, materials, and batch numbers accurately.
  • Move and handle materials throughout the production area.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine and production issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Stable work history with at least 1 year per employer.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn multiple machines.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and understand production documents and blueprints.
  • Experience using quality measurement tools such as calipers.

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $49920.00/yr.
