The Box Machine Operator is responsible for sorting, preparing, and packaging products requiring custom packaging. The ideal candidate will consider safety, quality, and teamwork with a high regard, and work well in a team environment.


Pay Rate for Box Machine Operators:

  • Starting rate is $18.50 per hour

Schedule for Box Machine Operators:

  • Schedule: Monday- Friday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and Sunday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm,


Preferred Experience for Box Machine Operators:

  • Education/Certification(s): High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Prior warehouse or packaging experience preferred.

Box Machine Operators' duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of our WMS software
  • Wear safety gloves while handling metal products
  • Able to read, identify, and sort products based on pick ticket details
  • Scans product using handheld scanners
  • Use advised packing material when packaging the product
  • Places necessary labels on the packed product
  • Using banding equipment on the product is required
  • Stages product for shipping in the proper location for UPS/FedEx/LTL/truck shipments
  • Keeps warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times
  • Wears protective-toed shoes and works safely at all times
  • Assist Lead/team members when changing corrugate for the box machine
  • Ensure the box machine and work area are clean and neat before leaving EOD
  • All other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Physical Demands for Box Machine Operators:

  • Must have the ability to stand, walk, and squat for the duration of the shift
  • Must have the ability to grasp, push, and pull with hands for the duration of the shift
  • Required to frequently bend and twist the neck and waist
  • Required to occasionally squat and kneel
  • Talking, hearing, and seeing are essential
  • Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate equipment- 18 years or older (If applicable)
  • Must have the ability to endure extreme hot and cold temperatures, humidity, and work in a noisy environment
