Special Education Assistant - Full Timeย - RJ Grey Junior High School

Hourly Pay Rate: ย $26.31 - $30.22
The Acton-Boxborough Regional School District, a Prek-12 district, is seeking a skilled and experienced special education assistantย to work within the special education department at the R.J. Grey Junior High School.ย  ย  ย  ย 


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide positive behavior supports and academic interventions for students
  • Work with lead teacher to provide academic, social, emotional, and behavioral support and intervention
  • Work collaboratively with team of general education and special education teachers and therapists
  • Collect data
  • Implement taught strategies across environments to reinforce skills and promote carryoverย 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in special education or related field preferred
  • Experience in public school setting
  • Experience working with young adults with disabilities
  • Able to take initiative and work independently
  • Knowledge of adolescent developmentย
