What does a certified carpenter do?

A Certified Carpenter is a skilled tradesperson who constructs, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. They read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and assemble frameworks for buildings, cabinetry, and other projects. Certification indicates that the carpenter has met specific industry standards and has demonstrated proficiency in their trade, often through a combination of formal education, training, and work experience. Certified Carpenters may work in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, and their work is essential to the construction and maintenance of various structures.
