Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Crane Operator. The ideal candidate must have verifiable crane certifications and proven experience safely operating an 18-ton Broderson carry deck crane.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate an 18-ton Broderson carry deck crane.
  • Inspect the crane and lifting equipment before each shift.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Lift, move, position, and place materials according to project requirements.
  • Follow load charts, lifting plans, hand signals, and site safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with riggers, signal persons, supervisors, and other crew members.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and equipment records.
  • Comply with all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating carry deck cranes.
  • Must be able to operate an 18-ton Broderson carry deck crane.
  • Current and verifiable crane operator certifications are required.
  • Strong understanding of crane safety procedures, load capacities, and hand signals.
  • Ability to complete pre-operational inspections.
  • Ability to work safely in active construction and industrial environments.
  • Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions.
