CT & MRI Technologist Self-Study Certification Program
Take the next step in your imaging career by becoming a CT or MRI technologist!
Program Details
The CT and MRI Technologist Certification Program at Mount Sinaiprovides a unique opportunity to our radiologic employees who are interested in advancing their career in the field of medical imaging.
The six-month program includes online self-study courses, and in-person classes with highly skilled mentors. The program intends to provide the theoretical and practical frameworks needed to prepare students for the advanced certification in MRI and CT.
Program Benefits
  • Employees who are accepted into the program will be trained on 1 modality, CT or MRI
  • Employee will receive structured training designed to prepare them to successfully obtain the advanced CT or MRI certification
  • After the completion of the program, employee will be required to take the ARRT exam within 90 days and be allowed two opportunities to test for the advanced certification
  • After obtaining the advanced certification, employee will be promoted into a position in the corresponding modality, CT or MRI and be awarded $10,850 bonus

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must be a full-time Radiology department employee for at least one year and have successfully passed probationary period and performance evaluation
  • Must hold an active ARRT (R) certification and a FL general radiography license
  • Must have no disciplinary actions on file
