The role is a mix of outpatient clinical care and inpatient responsibilities, supported by two Cath labs, advanced imaging, and a collaborative multi-specialty team.Position Highlights: Schedule: Monday Thursday 8am 5pm, Friday 8am 12pm Admin Time: 0.5 days/week Call: 1:4 STEMI call; 1:6 general cardiology call EMR: Cerner Patient Volume: 18 22/day Demographic: Primarily adults aged 55+, including cardiac and peripheral vascular conditionsScope of Work: Interventional cardiology consultations, follow-ups, and diagnostics No admissions; hospitalist-led inpatient care Imaging services include Echo (TTE/TEE), stress testing, cardiac CT/MRI, 256-slice CT scanner Dedicated device clinic support Collaborative work with cardiac surgery, IR, and wound care teams Plans underway for a hybrid OR for minimally invasive procedures Access to da Vinci robotic surgery systemTeam Includes: Interventional, non-invasive, invasive, and imaging cardiologists Advanced practice providers (NPs) Electrophysiology supportFacility Features: 2-room Cath lab, 10 ORs, and 14-bed cardiac monitoring unit Onsite wound care and hyperbaric therapy Largest dedicated cardiac service space in the region
