Location: Newport, Vermont
Pay Rate: $55 to $58/hr
Contract: 19 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday–Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Start Date: 07/13/2026

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Echo Technologist for a 19-week contract opportunity in Newport, Vermont. This role supports day shift diagnostic imaging services in a Critical Access Hospital setting and requires strong echocardiography skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform echocardiography procedures accurately and safely.

  • Support diagnostic imaging services for patients in a hospital setting.

  • Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures clearly.

  • Capture high-quality cardiac images for provider interpretation.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner.

  • Follow department protocols, safety standards, and quality expectations.

  • Attend required department quarterly education sessions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Echo Technologist experience required.

  • RDCS(AE) certification required.

  • Current BLS/BCLS certification required.

  • State license required upon acceptance.

  • Cerner experience preferred.

  • No holiday coverage required.

  • No call required.

  • Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transportation.

  • Must be comfortable working in a small-town Critical Access Hospital environment.
