Job description

**Lead Residential Tile Installer - $30/Hour**

We are seeking an experienced Lead Residential Tile Installer to oversee high-quality tile installations in residential homes. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, leads by example, and can manage projects from layout to final polish.

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Oversee residential tile installation projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional quality.
  • Tile Installation: Install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, mosaic, and specialty tile with expert precision.
  • Team Coordination: Guide and mentor junior installers, delegate tasks, and maintain a productive jobsite.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare surfaces, including leveling, waterproofing, and underlayment installation.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work throughout the project to ensure alignment with company standards and client expectations.
  • Client Communication: Provide updates, answer questions, and maintain a professional, customer-focused presence.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of residential tile installation experience
  • Strong knowledge of layout, cutting, setting, and grouting techniques
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow design specifications
  • Experience leading small crews
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency in tile laying and use of power tools
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience in residential construction and masonry
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and general labor tasks

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
