The planning and design of each collection is conceived and carried out in Italy, in the Group’s own research facility. Position Summary

The Press Operator is responsible for operating tile presses in accordance with established procedures to ensure consistent production quality and efficiency. This role involves monitoring press operations, inspecting product quality, performing die and frame changes, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Operator must be able to identify and correct production or quality issues, communicate effectively with supervisors, and follow all safety protocols.

This position is for our C-Shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate tile presses according to established procedures and production schedules. 
  • Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met. 
  • Inspect green tile regularly to verify compliance with quality specifications. 
  • Lift and handle green tile as needed throughout the shift. 
  • Change dies and frames based on production orders and requirements. 
  • Perform die and frame transfers as needed. 
  • Modify press settings to correct production or quality issues. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area always. 
  • Alert supervisor to any issues affecting production or quality. 
  • Record production and quality control data as required. 
  • Comply with OSHA and company safety regulations. 
  • Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices. 
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support production efficiency, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience desired.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to monitor and operate automated machinery and production equipment

The role requires constant attention to safety, cleanliness, and coordination with team members to ensure efficient operations.
