Job description

The Marketing Internship provides a hands-on introduction to the world of business development and marketing in the wealth management space. Interns will gain firsthand experience leveraging key digital marketing tools as well as building marketing content. This internship provides current undergraduates an opportunity to gain meaningful experience in a professional business environment while developing skills in both marketing and business development. This role requires the ability to work onsite in our San Diego office 15-20 hours per week during the semester and 40 hours per week during the summer.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Salesforce and CRM entry
  • HubSpot entry and campaign support
  • Watching invite lists and tracking
  • Updating event contract records
  • Researching topics and presented findings
  • Back-end client coordination e.g. creating Docusign
  • Proof reading email copy
  • First passes at marketing copy
  • Create email templates
  • Write Standard Operating Procedures
  • Supporting the preparation of documents to adhere to brand standards
  • Creation of content and maintaining website
  • Lead the monthly Market Wrap Review from end-to-end
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior in college.
  • Able to provide at least 15 hours during the academic year and be full-time during the summers.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Majoring in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
