Job description

Director of Trust Operations

If you believe great client experiences are built long before the client ever picks up the phone, and if words like reconciliation, conversions, and project plans make you smile instead of sweat, we should talk.

Our growing client is seeking a Director of Trust Operations to provide strategic leadership across centralized operations, including onboarding, account reviews, asset transfers, fee processing, fund valuation, reconciliations, corporate trust support, institutional custody, security processing, and management reporting. You'll lead operational readiness for technology enhancements, regulatory changes, mergers and acquisitions, and system conversions, ensuring the organization remains efficient, compliant, and ready for what's next. This role requires a leader who can balance strategy with execution, because "we'll figure it out later" is not considered a project plan.

Qualified candidates will bring 10+ years of Wealth Management or Trust Operations experience, including 7+ years of leadership, along with strong project management and system conversion expertise. Experience with FIS and SEI is highly preferred, while a Master's degree and certifications such as CSOP, CTOP, CTFA, ATFA, or CFIRS are a plus. If you enjoy turning complexity into clarity and appreciate the quiet beauty of a perfectly reconciled balance sheet, you may have just found your people.
