STAR Sanitation is an operating unit of Pacific Ag Rentals, LLC, is the premier provider of sanitation across the northern California and Arizona. With over 250+ employees across five states, our team of dedicated people work to set us apart creating safe innovative solutions and exceeding customer expectations for their portable restrooms, premium suites, hand-washing stations, fencing, and storage containers and services.

A Day in the Life

The STAR team has an immediate opening for a full time Central Valley Sales Representative We're looking for a candidate that will help maintain an established customer base and develop new business. This position requires weekend hours during the season and is based on a 40-hour work week with overtime.

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the industry and the products and services offered by STAR Sanitation & Site Services, LLC.
  • Develop new customer base in Central Valley with focus on the Merced to Stockton territory
  • Ensure that all incoming calls and inquires for estimates are responded to in and expedient manner
  • Assist with managing marketing strategy to help drive brand exposure and increase revenue base
  • Oversee a team of support and service drivers to ensure customers’ expectations are achieved
  • Follow-up with existing customers to ensure all expectations are met.
  • Be willing to travel to customer locations and job sites.
  • Have excellent communication with customers via phone & email.
  • Must be willing to work in an office setting and perform administrative tasks associated with other duties, such as accounts receivable tasks.

QualificationsQualifications and Skills:
  • Highly organized & detail orientated
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • An understanding of our operational side of the business. (Training provided)
  • This position will help with servicing portable toilets, cleaning, adding toilet paper, etc....
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and social media
  • Proven time management
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • 3-5 years’ sales experience.

Compensation STAR Sanitation & Site Services, LLC offers paid leave, medical, dental, and vision plans, 401K, and PTO. STAR is also committed to the growth and development of its employees by offering on the job training and room for advancement. In return for its employee's commitment and dedication to providing industry leading products and services.

The starting pay rate is $35 - $37/hour (depending on experience) plus commission. You will also be provided with a company phone and laptop.
