Job description

The Supply Chain Central Planning Analyst will support Supply Chain Planning for the network by creating and supporting network wide planning tools. They will partner closely with Supply Chain Analytics & Data Science to design, construct, and publish reports used by all stakeholders including senior leaders. The Central Planning Analyst will work closely with operational teams to answer questions related to the information they publish and execute ad-hoc analysis to solve business problems. To be effective in this role, they will collaborate and develop strong relationships with DC Planning Managers and other partners across the organization. This position requires an individual with strong analytical skills and calls for a self-starter with genuine investigative talents, and the ability to find, analyze and present information to assist in developing operational strategy for efficiency within the distribution center environment and the broader supply chain. The Central Supply Central Chain Planning Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager of Operations Planning
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintains a single network platform used to streamline short-term workforce, inbound, our outbound planning.
  • Collaborates with business partners and DC leadership to understand business needs and translate central plans for execution
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of dashboards, reports, and other data visualization tools to help us monitor and improve warehouse and supply chain performance          
  • Participate in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) reconciliation by analyzing, researching, and communicating operational cost/benefit tradeoffs relating to key business decisions
  • Directly supports the rollout and standup on new buildings. Including hands on training in the new site.
  • Operates with a clear bias-to-action to respond to customer needs 
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization   
  • Analyzing data to identify trends and patterns and inform decision-making
  • Performs and participates in root cause analysis of business problems, identifying and recommending alternative solutions, and develops reports to track key metrics and results

Scope

  • Decision making: 
    • Direct advisement and recommendation setting for a labor force of 2500+ associates, over $100MM annual payroll impact.
  • Travel:  Up to 25%

The anticipated salary range for this position is $69,500 - $104,200 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
