Full Time Position/ Salary range $25-27 per hour, depending on years of experience

Position overview: Responsible for installation, programming, testing, and inspecting of fire alarm systems in compliance with fire codes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Run and terminate fire alarm wiring
· Installation of fire control panels, detectors, pull stations, notification and ancillary equipment.
· Documentation of installation and equipment used.
· Conduct acceptance testing on new installations
· Train building owners on system operation
Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 2-5 yrs experience with fire alarm systems
· Good communication skills
· Valid Driver’s License/Clean driving record
· Clean Pre-employment Background Check
· Clean Pre-employment Drug Test
Technical Skills:
· Ability to read shop drawings
· Basic electronics: parallel and series circuits
· Basic computer skills for programming
· Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of power tools
· Understanding of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· Comfortable working on ladders up to 12+ feet
· Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces and mechanical rooms
· Capable of standing, kneeling and bending for extended periods
· Manual dexterity for terminating wires and small components.
