Job description

The IT Operations Engineer has advanced troubleshooting and service desk support experience. This person will contribute to the knowledge transfer across the Service Desk and ensuring quick resolution to infrastructure escalations. Is responsible to assist with these services related to physical infrastructure and healthcare technology hardware: Purchasing and Acquisitions, Implementations, Contract Negotiations and Reviews, Maintenance Contracts, Inventory Management, Vendor Service Management, Executive Support, Reporting and KPIs, and Regulatory and Compliance.

Required Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Computer Science or Math background preferred or minimum of three (3+) years of equivalent experience

Required Experience: Minimum of three (3+) years of progressive experience in administering enterprise-level services utilizing multiple traditional and emerging technologies
 
Preferred Experience: Minimum of five (5+) years of progressive experience in administering enterprise-level services utilizing multiple traditional and emerging technologies. Minimum of two (2+) years of experience working within a Service Desk operations role
 
Required Certifications and Licensures: Valid Virginia Driver's License
 
Preferred Certifications and Licensures: MTA or CCENT or Alcatel Field Engineer Certification
 
Salary Range: $62,462.00- $93,693.00 / Year
Mid-Level Tier II work on IT Operations Engineering team including: Purchasing and Acquisitions, Implementation, Data Backup/Monitoring, Software and Maintenance, Contractual and Vendor management, Reporting KPIs, and Regulatory Compliance
 
Supports infrastructure hardware, healthcare technology and system software components
 
Identifies root cause analysis for service interruption recovery and creates preventive measures
 
Monitor/maintains enterprise hardware availability
 
Appropriates documentation and hand-off of software, infrastructure hardware and healthcare technology to other technical teams
 
Project task implementation planning and infrastructure/healthcare technology maintenance
 
Input in Project planning, design, and analysis
 
Participates in contract negotiations
 
Provides input in forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for wired and wireless network systems
 
Oversees the configuration/maintenance of the following environments: LAN, WAN, IT platforms for Clinical systems, Client Platform device management systems, Telehealth infrastructure/devices, Blade/Rack Mounted Server Systems, and Healthcare Technology platforms
 
Support/maintain critical legacy systems and network security infrastructure
 
Level Incident Management, including mentoring of IT Support personnel
 
Maintains network and telephony physical support of + remote sites
 
Provides reports/metrics related to performance and availability
 
Participate in infrastructure and healthcare technology projects
 
Participate in a xx Service Support team for all Centra infrastructure across multiple industries, including Healthcare, Hotel, Education, and Insurance
 
Participate in the assessment/implementation of new infrastructure/healthcare technologies and services
 
Ensure current regulatory/compliance requirements are met
