In this role, you will work in a dynamic outpatient office environment from the comfort of your own home. • Conduct thorough crisis assessments for individuals experiencing acute mental health emergencies, providing timely and appropriate interventions.
• Facilitate immediate counseling sessions for clients requiring urgent support, focusing on active listening and crisis stabilization.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary to ensure client safety and effective crisis resolution.
• Deliver follow-up care to clients, providing ongoing support, and developing tailored crisis intervention strategies.
• Employ evidence-based techniques for crisis intervention and de-escalation to effectively navigate challenging circumstances and promote client stability.
• Pursue continuous learning opportunities to enhance skills in crisis counseling and remain informed on best practices.

Our client population includes individuals of diverse backgrounds who may be facing issues related to substance abuse, trauma, emotional crises, and suicidal ideation. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with clients who are seeking immediate assistance and support in navigating their mental health challenges. Your empathetic approach will be vital in establishing trust and facilitating meaningful therapeutic connections that foster healing.

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
• Minimum of three years of recent, hands-on experience in crisis intervention and mental health counseling.
• Specific training in crisis counseling and trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

• Strong background in delivering counseling services to individuals in acute mental health crises.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based crisis intervention methods and de-escalation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with distressed clients.
• Ability to conduct rapid assessments and design personalized crisis intervention plans tailored to client needs.
