Day Shift Centerless Grinder Trainee
LOOKING FOR A NEW CAREER? A manufacturing company in Berea, OH is now hiring a full-time day shift Centerless Grinder Trainee! The Centerless Grinder trainee is responsible for running the machines used for grinding. On site training! This is a first shift opportunity working 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Learn to independently run the Centerless Grinding machines
  • Inspect the parts produced by the machine
  • Makes adjustment to the machines if necessary
  • Keep the machine area clean, including floor, machine, and workstation
  • Understand and learn how to read gauging of the products from the machines
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ready to learn a new trade
  • Ability to retain and repeat what has been taught
  • Able to make good decisions on which materials to use, how to solve the problem and if outside help is needed
  • Able to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multi-tasks

EDUCATION:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
