Position Overview :
Consumer Device Test Engineer (Cellular 3G/4G/5G)
- We are looking for a Cellular Device Test Engineer with hands-on experience in testing mobile devices across 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.
- The ideal candidate will have a background in field testing, strong log analysis skills, and a working knowledge of wireless carrier standards.
- This position involves validating mobile performance, identifying network or device issues, and delivering regular status updates.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field and lab testing of smartphones, tablets, and wearables across multiple technologies.
- Analyze logs and troubleshoot user equipment (UE) issues.
- Utilize tools such as QxDM, QCAT, Wireshark, ELT, STT, etc. for detailed diagnostics.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to report findings.
- Provide clear and concise daily test reports to stakeholders.
- Test device performance in real-world network environments and identify performance gaps.
Requirements:
- 1–5 years of mobile device or smartphone field testing experience.
- Solid knowledge of 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G cellular protocols and standards.
