Bluemont Vineyard | Bluemont, VA
$20 - $25, based on experience
Founded in 2007 by the Zurschmeide family, Bluemont Vineyard produces approximately 10,000 cases of wine annually from our estate vineyards and select partner growers. Our production team also supports Henway Hard Cider and Great Country Farms, crafting a diverse portfolio of premium wines, hard ciders, and specialty fruit wines.
The Cellar Hand is a hands-on production role that supports all aspects of winery and cidery operations, including harvest, cellar work, packaging, sanitation, and general production activities. This position is well suited for someone with prior experience in a winery, cidery, brewery, or other beverage production environment who is looking to expand their knowledge and develop their skills within a collaborative production team. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands and isn't afraid to get dirty. This position involves physically demanding work, such as cleaning, moving hoses, handling equipment, lifting, and supporting every stage of production. We value team players who take pride in producing exceptional wines and ciders and care about quality.
The ideal candidate is committed to maintaining high-quality standards, follows established safety and sanitation procedures, works well both independently and as part of a team, and has a genuine interest in expanding their knowledge of winemaking and cidermaking.
