Field Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time employee for a Field Technician, in our Phoenix, AZ location. Tower Engineering Professionals offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental insurance, paid vacation and holidays, 401k with company match, and a relaxed, fun environment.
Responsibilities:
Field Duties (70- 80% of work time):
- Must be able to travel up to a total of 2 weeks.
- Must have a labor-intensive attitude and be capable of operating heavy machinery and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform maintenance on telecommunications towers.
- Must have the physical ability and the willingness to dig, bend, and climb inclines.
- Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely,
efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
- Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OSHA, COMTRAIN, etc.)
Office Duties (20- 30% of work time):
- Upload photos of work completed.
- Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements
related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial applications.
- Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work.
- Review peer work product.
Qualifications:
- 1 year general construction experience preferred; some cell tower industry experience highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented.
- Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driverโ€™s license, and a clean driving record to operate a
company vehicle.
