What You’ll Do as a PTA
- Provide physical therapy treatments according to individualized plans of care developed by the Licensed Physical Therapist
- Treat residents in skilled nursing, assisted living, and outpatient therapy settings
- Communicate resident progress, concerns, and recommendations to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Apply appropriate therapeutic techniques based on resident presentation and plan of care
- Participate in care plan meetings when requested by the Director of Rehabilitation
- Document treatment sessions, progress notes, and provide objective input for discharge summaries
- Complete daily billing and documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
- Maintain compliance with state practice acts, professional ethics, and company policies
- Support a collaborative, residentcentered, interdisciplinary rehab approach
What We’re Looking for in YOU
- Active state PTA license or certification (required)
- Strong understanding of therapeutic interventions and treatment techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist
- Compassionate, reliable, and residentfocused mindset
- Strong communication and timemanagement skills
- Desire to be part of a stable inhouse rehabilitation team
