Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

 

NFM’s electronics installation team gets to know our customers on a personal level. They provide consultation and complex installation services for our customers.  As an EDIC Installer III you will be invited into our customer’s homes to ensure the work is 100% up to par with their expectations. You will play a large role in creating satisfied, loyal, life-long customers.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Safety First: Handling products so you are safe and the product is damage free
  • Play Your Part: Install a variety of electronics into customer homes – platforms that integrate with subsystems including lighting, motorized shading solutions, irrigation systems and surveillance systems
  • Install: Network infrastructure product including routers, switches, access point, patch panel and punch down appliances
  • Make it Flawless: Test, trouble shoot, prewire, trim-out and programing and networking control devises for optimal customer satisfaction
  • Wrap it up: Audit supplies, process returns and communicate feedback with internal partners

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 4 years customer contact experience required
  • 4 years experience in electronics installation, service or repair
  • CEDIA ESC-T required
  • CEDIA ESC-N and other industry recognized certifications preferred
  • Must have knowledge of home theater, surveillance system, phone and home network systems
  • Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Missouri residents must have Class E driver’s license
  • Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check
