Job description

Independence Title in the Dallas-Fort Worth area ( Preston Hollow Office), a wholly owned subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services, is seeking a Licensed Escrow Assistant . Anywhere Integrated Services is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

The Licensed Escrow Assistant is responsible for:

  • Coordinating the collection of information to finalize a home sale.

  • Handling, and having comfortable knowledge in: A to Z processing: frontend, curative for Schedule C, scheduling closings, working up CDs/HUDs, as needed, and post-closing/funding tasks.

  • Having hands-on experience with the closing process, if becoming licensed.

  • Communicating professionally, respectfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, with customers and co-workers.

  • Backing up on closings, after becoming licensed, as requested by Closer or management.

  • Keeping Esc. Officer license active and CE credits up to date, after becoming licensed.

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required

  • Must successfully apply for Escrow Officer License once onboard with the Company

  • A minimum of 4 years of Escrow experience, frontend and backend/funding, required

  • Experience with RamQuest system preferred, but not required

  • Great written and verbal communication skills required

  • Able to work proficiently with technology and in fast paced environment

  • Microsoft Suite proficient, including Outlook

  • This position works at the office - not a work from home position
