CDS in Texas is excited to announce an opening for an Budget Audit Specialist at our growing San Antonio, TX office!

Essential tasks:

  • Assist with intake of new CDS Clients, following established procedures.
  • Assist in developing client annual budgets and budget changes which may include requesting documents from case managers and services coordinators. Respond to requests from various CDS departments.
  • Communicate and solicit input from CDS staff and management to clarify protocol questions, billable items/service rates, and other nuances that would affect the budget.
  • Assist in mailing out correspondence of required paperwork needed for Annual budget renewal to meet CDS compliance requirements.
  • Assist with advanced client budget revisions or audit reviews as required.
  • Working with the A/R team to ensure all revenue opportunities are captured in the billing and collection process.
  • Observe confidentiality policies at all times.
  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One years’ experience in the healthcare field and leadership assistance.
  • Be competent in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of budget/accounting field preferred.
  • Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish; (Preferred but not required).
  • Able to quickly learn agency specific software.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Effective organizational skills with strong attentions to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
