Position Summary

 Seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer III to provide operational support, administration, and continuous improvement for enterprise cloud platforms supporting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service and the newly introduced Vercel platform. This role will be responsible for ensuring platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across customer-facing digital applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud environments, cloud-native web platforms, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, and enterprise integrations. This individual will collaborate with development teams, architects, product owners, security teams, and infrastructure partners to maintain highly available, secure, and scalable digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service, including Author, Publish, Dispatcher, CDN, and supporting integrations.
  • Support and administer the enterprise Vercel hosting platform for modern web applications.
  • Monitor platform health, system performance, application availability, and service reliability using enterprise monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, deployment failures, platform issues, and integration challenges.
  • Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive solutions for recurring issues.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines, release deployments, environment promotions, and configuration changes.
  • Support platform security, user access management, certificate renewals, and compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain integrations between AEM and enterprise platforms including Digital Asset Management (DAM), Workfront, Azure services, Akamai/CDN, publishing platforms, and other marketing technologies.
  • Perform platform administration including user permissions, workflow management, replication monitoring, and environment configuration.
  • Partner with software engineering teams to optimize platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in on-call support, major incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, support procedures, and platform runbooks.
  • Evaluate Adobe platform releases, Vercel enhancements, and emerging technologies while recommending adoption strategies.
  • Drive automation, operational excellence, service maturity, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to prioritize platform enhancements and support requests.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience supporting enterprise cloud platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience administering Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platforms.
  • Strong experience supporting AEM as a Cloud Service environments.
  • Deep understanding of:
    • AEM Architecture
    • Dispatcher
    • CDN technologies
    • Cloud deployments
    • Enterprise integrations
  • Experience managing production incidents, service restoration, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience implementing platform monitoring, observability, and automation solutions.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Experience providing platform governance, monitoring, deployment support, access administration, and technical consultation.
  • Familiarity with modern web application technologies including:
    • Next.js
    • React
    • REST APIs
    • Cloud-native architectures
