To excel as a CDL Trainee, you need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical requirements. Familiarity with commercial vehicles, basic vehicle maintenance, and eventually obtaining a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) permit are crucial. • Candidates who have completed at least 120 hours of CDL instruction are eligible for the company’s fully paid three- to five-week training program; individuals actively working toward their CDL are encouraged to apply and will receive guidance on next steps.

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record; is required for progression to independent driving roles.
  • Minimum 120 hours of instruction from accredited CDL A school; is a must to be considered.
  • Ability to meet DOT medical and clearance requirements.
  • Strong attention to safety, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Basic mechanical awareness and familiarity with pre-trip inspection procedures preferred but not required.
  • Forklift or material-handling experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation and benefits

  • Competitive weekly pay (range varies by experience and assignment).
  • Day-one medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match after eligibility, paid time off, and paid holidays.
  • Company-paid life and AD&D insurance; pet and rider policies where applicable.
  • Paid orientation, paid training, referral program, and safety/performance bonus opportunities.
  • Assigned late-model tractors and primarily no-touch dry van freight with a high percentage of drop-and-hook operations, depending on assignment.
