Drive with Purpose in the Heart of Omaha.

Creighton University is seeking a dependable, service-oriented Part-time, Commercial Licensed, Shuttle Drivers to support campus transportation for a 3.5 hour/day, Monday - Friday schedule, between the hours of 2pm - 9pm. Target Start Date: August 1, 2026.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid U.S. driver's license (2+ years), with clean driving record

What You'll Do

  • Operate shuttle buses, passenger vans, and other University vehicles on fixed routes, on-demand services, and assigned trips
  • Follow all traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DoT) regulations
  • Complete required DoT logs and documentation each shift
  • Perform routine vehicle checks, basic maintenance, and refueling
  • Report maintenance issues, route concerns, or passenger-related incidents
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff

  • Safe operation of shuttle buses and passenger vehicles
  • Knowledge of DoT safety standards and regulations
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness and availability to work additional hours, if needed.
