What does a CDL program coordinator do?

A CDL Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing commercial driver's license (CDL) training programs. They manage daily program operations, coordinate training schedules, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and support both instructors and students. Their role may also include maintaining records, updating curriculum, and liaising with regulatory agencies to ensure program quality and effectiveness. Ultimately, they help ensure that students are properly trained and eligible to obtain their CDL.

Strong organizational abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail help you coordinate training schedules and support both instructors and students. These skills ensure the program meets regulatory standards, produces qualified drivers, and operates efficiently.
