Job Title: CDL-A Owner Operator – Intermodal Port Drayage

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport 20’, 40’, 45’, and 53’ dry and reefer ocean containers from the ports to local warehouses, rail ramps, and customer locations.
  • Manage terminal ingates and outgates effectively.
  • Maintain electronic logging device (ELD) compliance and adhere to all DOT safety regulations.
  • Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding container status and potential delays.

Job Requirements

  • License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
  • Credentials: Active TWIC Card required for port entry.
  • Equipment: A safe, compliant, and well-maintained tractor capable of port operations (Clean Truck program compliant).
  • Experience: Prior port drayage or intermodal experience is highly preferred.
  • Safety: Clean driving record with a strong focus on safe drayage solutions.
  • Language: Ability to communicate effectively (English or Spanish speaking welcomed).
